Global final of the Huawei ICT Competition 2022-23 at Huawei Headquarters in Shenzhen, China. The students from Pakistan secured positions in the Network track and innovation track. They secured 2^nd & 3^rd position in the network track and 3^rd position in the innovation track.

The event culminated in a competition among finalists of 146 teams from 36 countries. Earlier, over 120,000 students from more than 2000 universities in 74 countries participated in the ICT Competition.

The 2^nd position in the Network Track went to Muhammad Faeez Ali, Asad Anwer from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro and  Maryam Fareed from Lahore College for Women University.

The winning students were awarded prizes & certificates by the Presidents of Pakistan at a ceremony in the Aiwan-e-Sadr. The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Umar Saif, Federal Minister of IT & Telecom and Mr. Shunli Wang, Vice President of Huawei Middle East & Central Asia
