On February 28, 2024, Mr. Muhammad Qazi Akbar, former Chakwal Chamber of Commerce President, led a delegation to NUST for collaborative opportunities. Notable attendees included Mr. Waqar Zafar Bakhtawari, Chamber President, and business figures. Ms. Arooba Gillani welcomed them at NUST's Research, Innovation, and Commercialization Centre. Dr. Rizwan Riaz led discussions with NUST departments. The delegation toured the campus, gaining insights into labs, research, and training programs, concluding at the National Science & Technology Park. They appreciated the visit, emphasizing its importance in uplifting Chakwal and contributing to national development through transformative education. The Qazi Foundation committed to assisting economically challenged Chakwal students at NUST.
